We often don’t take the time to stop and appreciate how far we’ve come, or how much we’ve accomplished. We tend to look to the future and only see all that is yet to be done, or accomplished.
So the intention for today’s meditation is to guide you to celebrating just how far you’ve come.
So Let’s Begin…
YOU’VE COME SO FAR MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT
Let yourself get comfortable,
Sitting or lying down.
Drop your shoulders away from your ears,
Relax your facial muscles,
And become aware of your breath.
PAUSE…
Allow your breath to finds its natural flow,
And your body to guide your pace.
PAUSE…
See if you can visualize your younger self.
Whatever age comes to mind,
PAUSE…
Notice what you’re wearing,
And your facial features.
PAUSE…
As you look back at this younger version of you,
And she looks back at you,
She smiles from ear to ear.
PAUSE…
As she looks at you in awe,
At the person you’ve become.
You’ve come so far.
PAUSE…
Her heart is filled with pride,
At who you’ve grown into,
And all that you’ve accomplished.
PAUSE…
She stares with unconditional love for you.
PAUSE…
There is so much here to celebrate.
So much to be grateful for,
PAUSE…
You are deserving of the love and celebration,
Just as you are.
PAUSE…
Continue to breathe this in,
Basking in these feelings for a few moments longer.
Finding a sense of peace with where you are in your life.
Loving yourself, and appreciating yourself.
LONG PAUSE…
Slowly begin to let that image go,
Saying goodbye to her for now,
PAUSE…
And gently return your awareness back to your body and the space you’re in.
You have come so far.
