WHEN YOUR LIGHT HAS DIMMED MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT
Your light within is sacred.
PAUSE…
This beautiful part of your being
Is your truest,
Most powerful lifeforce.
PAUSE…
When you feel stuck,
Or maybe a little off,
Your internal glow may flicker,
And dim.
PAUSE…
Take a deep breath,
Feel into your body through this breath.
PAUSE…
Where does this breath take you?
LONG PAUSE…
As you breathe, maybe your breath takes you to a meadow,
Where colorful flowers dot the grass,
With tall green landscape all around the edges,
As sunshine warms your face,
You look up to the blue sky dotted,
With puffs of white clouds.
PAUSE…
You notice a breeze comes along,
It feels gentle through your hair,
Across your shoulders, chest, and down your back.
PAUSE…
You relax into yourself,
Feeling calm, soothed and centered.
PAUSE…
As you take another full breath in,
With your eyes closed,
You notice a shadow drift across your face,
Blotting out the warm sun,
Cooling your skin,
Moving you away from your center,
Dimming your inner glow.
PAUSE…
Take another deep breath into this space,
Acknowledge it,
Feel into it,
Do not ignore it.
PAUSE…
Nudge this shadowy spot,
Up and out from within your glow,
Releasing it into the breeze that flows back through you.
LONG PAUSE…
You are more powerful,
More resilient,
More limitless,
Then this shadow.
Your brightest light from within shines on, Always.
