So Let’s Begin…

WATER MEDITATION SCRIPT
Open your mind and heart
To the morning.
Open them to this meditation.
PAUSE
Now, breathe.
Gently and rhythmically
Breathe.
Let the air flow through you
Like a gentle stream,
Opening you even more.
PAUSE
Now, imagine yourself
Floating in water,
On a raft.
Cool, calm water,
Where you bob up and down
With ease.
Where you gently rock
Back and forth.
It’s relaxing.
Peaceful.
Soothing.
PAUSE
Now, take a moment,
And dip your hand
In the water.
Let it run between your fingers.
How does it feel?
PAUSE
Now, dip your arm
In the water,
Letting it lap
Around your elbow,
Softly massaging it.
PAUSE
Now, draw in a deep breath.
And, as you do,
Let yourself ease
Your whole body
Into the cool, pure water,
Knowing you are
Completely safe
And protected.
PAUSE
While submerged,
Imagine that you can breathe easily,
And bring your focus
To your body.
How does it feel
With the cool water
Embracing it?
Notice that your weightless,
Buoyant.
Notice the feeling
Of freedom,
And the ease
With which
All things flow.
Pause,
And focus on this feeling.
PAUSE
Now, draw in a deep breath,
And commit this feeling
Of flow, and ease
To your memory–
Both mental
And muscle memory.
Bring it back with you
To the present.
PAUSE
Now, allow your awareness
To center on the present.
And, as you do,
Focus on feeling
The flow of water in your life–
Physically,
Mentally,
Spiritually.
Understand that this flow
Is available to you
Anytime
Your body feels stiff,
Your life feels rigid,
Your mind feels stuck.
Just allow your memory
Of the water
To come back into your awareness,
And allow the flow of water,
The ease of water,
Into your life
Anytime you need it.
