Today’s morning meditation will help to uncover the brightside.
In a world where setbacks, heartbreaks, and unexpected challenges often arise, it is how we respond to them that determines our outlook.
Choosing to see the good in every situation is not always easy, but it is always worth it.
It helps us stay motivated, maintain a positive attitude, and ultimately leads to a happier life.
Life can be really tough sometimes, but we can find meaning and light in even the darkest moments.
So Let’s Begin…
UNCOVER THE BRIGHT SIDE MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT
Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to center yourself and clear your mind.
PAUSE…
Notice the sensation of the air as it flows in and out of your body with each inhale and exhale.
Notice the rhythm of your breath and the length of each inhale and exhale.
LONG PAUSE…
Now see if you can think of something that’s happened in your life,
That you perceived as hard or bad as it was happening,
But as time passed, came to realize the good it provided.
PAUSE…
Feel this shifting of perspective as it happened over time.
PAUSE…
Now, bring your awareness to the thoughts and stories in your mind.
Notice any negative thoughts and stories that come up, perhaps around something you’re currently experiencing that feels hard or bad, and acknowledge them without judgment.
LONG PAUSE…
Now, begin to look for the bright side of each thought.
For example, if you’re feeling frustrated, can you find the motivation that’s driving that emotion?
PAUSE…
If you’re feeling anxious, can you find the underlying sense of care or concern in that emotion?
If you’re feeling down about a situation, can you see the good hidden within?
PAUSE…
Explore the potential that each thought and feeling holds.
LONG PAUSE…
Now, bring your awareness to your body.
Notice any areas of tension and take a few moments to really explore these sensations.
Take a few deep breaths into these areas and imagine the breath releasing and melting away any tension.
LONG PAUSE…
Imagine the potential that lies within each moment, each thought, and each feeling.
And bring in your own words of encouragement and understanding as you uncover the bright side.
