The Power of Your Thoughts (Motivation) Morning Meditation

Today’s morning meditation will give you the space to see how powerful your thoughts are and how they shape your life.

Good morning, beautiful.

This week, our theme is motivation.

Each of these meditations will consist of a quote that I hope will motivate you to live your life to the fullest today.

“Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right.” Henry Ford.

I love this quote by Henry Ford because it gives voice to how powerful our thoughts are and how they literally shape our lives.  Meditation can be a powerful practice to manage our thoughts; letting go of the ones that are disempowering, and holding onto the ones that are beneficial.

So Let’s Begin…

So settle in,

And place your hand on your heart.

PAUSE…

Notice the warmth that is created here.

Notice the slow movement of your chest as you breathe.

Notice your body softening,

And relaxing.

As you bring yourself here into this moment.

PAUSE…

No, I can’t.

How many times has this thought appeared in your mind?

How has it shaped your life?

PAUSE…

Yes, I can.

How many times has this thought appeared in your mind?

How has it shaped your life?

PAUSE…

Your thoughts are powerful.

And right now, in this moment,

And in every moment that follows,

You have the power to let go of the ones that do not serve you,

No matter how loud they may be.

PAUSE…

And you have the power to embrace the ones that empower you,

The ones that open up space,

The ones that spark a fire inside of you,

The ones that give you goosebumps.

PAUSE…

Gather those thoughts,

And watch them shape your life.
