Today’s morning meditation will allow you to sit in the power of positive praise.

The power of positive praise is a force that has the ability to transform our lives in countless ways, and it is something that we could all benefit from understanding more deeply.

So often in our lives, we focus on the negative.

We dwell on our mistakes and shortcomings, and we allow them to define us.

But what if we were to shift our attention to the positive?

What if we were to focus on our strengths and the things we do well, and allow them to define us instead?

So Let’s Begin…

THE POWER OF POSITIVE PRAISE MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT

Today is a new day, full of possibilities and opportunities for growth and transformation.

Take a deep breath in, and let it out with a soft sigh.

As you close your eyes, allow yourself to settle into this moment, into the present.

PAUSE…

Too often, we can be our own worst critics, focusing on our flaws and shortcomings.

But what if, instead of criticizing ourselves, we praised ourselves for all the wonderful things that we are?

What if we spoke to ourselves with the same kindness and compassion that we offer to others?

PAUSE…

Imagine yourself standing in front of a mirror.

Take a moment to look at yourself, really look.

Notice your hair, your eyes, your skin.

See the beauty in yourself, the unique features that make you who you are.

PAUSE…

Now, begin to speak to yourself, aloud or silently.

Offer yourself words of praise and encouragement.

You might say, “I am strong, capable, and resilient.”

“I am beautiful, inside and out.”

“I am worthy of love and respect.”

PAUSE…

Notice how it feels to speak these words to yourself.

Notice the warmth that spreads through your body.

Notice the sense of confidence that comes from acknowledging who you really are.

PAUSE…

As you go about your day, continue to speak to yourself with kindness and positivity.

Whenever you find yourself slipping into self-criticism, pause, take a deep breath, and offer yourself words of praise instead.
