This week, we’re meditating on the theme of discomfort.
Evolution is uncomfortable.
It’s full of pain, pressure and discomfort.
And this is what makes it so beautiful.
Because all that discomfort propels you to your next phase of consciousness.
Another phase of understanding yourself.
Another phase of understanding others.
Another phase of understanding the world.
A diamond cannot be a diamond without the intense pressure.
So today’s meditation will give you the opportunity to think about the discomforts you’ve experienced in your life, and how they’ve helped shape you into the woman you are right now.
So Let’s Begin…

THE IMPORTANCE OF DISCOMFORT MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT
So close your eyes,
And relax your body.
Slowing down your breathing,
And inviting your mind to turn its attention away from the thoughts,
And onto the rhythm of your breathing,
On to the noises you hear around you,
The feeling of your body in its position.
Breathe…
PAUSE…
Now take a moment to think about a moment of discomfort in your life.
Maybe it was something big,
Something traumatic.
Perhaps it was something small and memorable.
Just think of that moment,
And see if you can imagine yourself as the person you were before you experienced this discomfort.
And then who you became after the discomfort.
Just spend a few moments here,
Watching the progression of that evolution.
PAUSE…
What did you learn?
Who did you become?
How did you evolve?
PAUSE…
These moments of discomfort – big and small – are catalysts to your growth.
And I hope today, you can sit in gratitude for them,
Because they are a part of your story,
A part of what makes you so special.
