So Let’s Begin…

THANK YOU, EVEN FOR THIS MEDITATION SCRIPT
Close your eyes.
Let your breath settle.
Let your shoulders fall.
And listen with your whole heart.
PAUSE
There are moments in life
That shine like golden light through trees—
Moments where gratitude comes easy.
Where thank you spills from your lips
Like water from an overflowing cup.
PAUSE
And then—
There are other moments.
Moments that ache.
That confuse.
That stir a silence so loud
You don’t know what to do with it.
PAUSE
This is a prayer
For those moments too.
PAUSE
Thank you, even for this.
PAUSE
For the mess I didn’t see coming.
For the endings that came too soon.
For the words I wish I had said.
For the family that didn’t feel like home.
Thank you, even for this.
PAUSE
For the seat left empty at the table.
For the plans that unraveled.
For the grief I couldn’t name.
For the feeling of being left out,
Of not knowing where I belong.
Thank you, even for this.
PAUSE
Because here—
Right here in this human moment—
Something holy stirs.
A breath.
A beat.
A soft knowing that says:
You are alive.
PAUSE
And even this,
Whatever this is,
Is part of the sacred unfolding.
PAUSE
So I say it again:
Thank you, even for this.
For the tender learning.
For the broken places.
For the unexpected beauty
That sometimes hides inside the pain.
PAUSE
Thank you for the strength I didn’t ask for,
But now see was always mine.
Thank you for the detours
That led me closer to myself.
Thank you for the quiet.
For the mystery.
For the long nights
That cracked me open
To a deeper kind of light.
PAUSE
Thank you for the love
That came in sideways—
Through a stranger’s smile,
Or the way the sun hit the sink full of dishes.
PAUSE
Thank you for the lessons
I didn’t want,
Didn’t choose,
Didn’t feel ready for—
But that shaped me
Into someone softer.
Wiser.
More whole.
PAUSE
Thank you, even for this.
The jagged edge.
The healing scar.
The silence that taught me how to listen.
PAUSE
I may not always understand.
But I can still say thank you.
Not because it all makes sense—
But because I trust the sacredness in it all.
PAUSE
In joy or ache,
In fullness or longing,
In celebration or quiet repair—
There is life.
There is love.
There is me, still breathing.
PAUSE
And so, I bow.
To all of it.
To all of me.
To all of you.
Thank you. Even for this.
LONG PAUSE
Namaste, Beautiful.
