So Let’s Begin…

STILLNESS IN THE NOISE MEDITATION SCRIPT
Find a quiet place
where you can be undisturbed for a while.
Settle in,
Take a slow breath in,
and let it fall all the way out.
PAUSE
Feel your shoulders relax,
your jaw soften,
your belly ease.
PAUSE
Breathe again,
long and smooth.
Let your exhale carry away tension
from your chest,
from your face,
from your hands.
PAUSE
The world around you
may feel noisy,
busy,
full of demands and distractions.
There may be endless to-do lists,
family pulling on you,
thoughts darting in every direction.
PAUSE
But here, in this space,
you are safe to let the noise settle.
Like the surface of water
after it’s been stirred,
it calms when you stop swirling it.
PAUSE
Notice your breath.
Notice the steady rhythm
no matter what the mind is doing.
PAUSE
As you breathe,
imagine all the outer noise—
the chatter,
the screens,
the responsibilities—
fading further and further away.
PAUSE
Inside, there is a quieter place.
A place untouched by schedules,
emails,
conversations,
or the rushing of life.
PAUSE
Feel for that quiet now.
It’s here in your chest
as it rises and falls.
It’s here in your breath
as it flows gently in and out.
It’s here in your body
as it rests,
safe and supported.
PAUSE
Even if your mind is busy,
even if thoughts still circle around,
notice how they are like passing cars
on a distant road.
They make sound,
but they do not touch you here.
PAUSE
This is your stillness.
The calm space within you
that no noise can break.
PAUSE
Rest here for a moment.
Let yourself feel what it’s like
to be held in quiet,
even when the world is loud.
LONG PAUSE
Take one more deep, generous breath.
Exhale fully.
And when you’re ready,
slowly open your eyes.
PAUSE
Namaste, Beautiful.
