SOOTHE YOUR INNER WORLD MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT
Today, we are going to embark on a journey to soothe your inner world, to find the peace that resides within you, and to let it emanate outwards.
PAUSE…
Begin by finding a comfortable seat, whether that’s on a cushion, a chair, or the floor.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale out through your mouth.
Take another deep breath, allowing your belly to expand, and exhale slowly, feeling your body relax.
PAUSE…
As you sit here, notice any thoughts that come up.
Perhaps there are worries or concerns that are vying for your attention.
Acknowledge them, but don’t engage with them.
Allow them to float by like clouds in the sky.
PAUSE…
Now, bring your attention to your body.
Notice any areas of tension, any places where you’re holding on.
Send your breath to these areas, inviting them to soften and release.
PAUSE…
Imagine a soft, glowing energy surrounding your body, cocooning you in safety and comfort.
Imagine this energy slowly expanding, radiating outwards until it fills the entire room, and beyond.
PAUSE…
Allow this energy to calm your nervous system, to soothe your worries, and to envelop you in a sense of peace and love.
PAUSE…
As you sit in this place, notice how you feel.
Allow yourself to fully sink into the experience of being here.
Allow the peace and calm of this place to permeate your being.
PAUSE…
Take a few deep breaths, and when you’re ready, begin to bring yourself back to your present surroundings.
Take a moment to ground yourself, feeling your feet on the ground and your breath moving in and out of your body.
