So Let’s Begin…

SOFTEN THE EDGES, OPEN THE HEART MEDITATION SCRIPT

 

Take a breath in…
And gently close your eyes.

Let this moment be yours.
Just for a little while.
A space where you don’t have to hold it all together.

PAUSE

Now imagine…
You are standing beneath a soft, golden sky.
The air around you is warm,
Just like early fall—
Cool enough to awaken,
Warm enough to comfort.

PAUSE

And as you stand here,
You begin to notice something around you.

A shell.
A layer.
A quiet armor you’ve worn.

PAUSE

Not wrong.
Not bad.
Just something that formed
To help you feel safe.

PAUSE

You’ve carried this armor
Through hard days.
Through heartbreak.
Through uncertainty.

PAUSE

You’ve used it to stay strong.
To stay upright.
To keep going.

PAUSE

But now…
The air is softer.
The season is shifting.
And your soul is ready
To breathe without the weight.

PAUSE

So gently now…
Let yourself begin to imagine
That outer shell…
Starting to warm,
Starting to melt.

PAUSE

Like sunlight touching ice.
Like water washing over stone.

PAUSE

With each breath,
The edges soften.

PAUSE

The hardness begins to dissolve.
Not all at once—
But slowly.
Tenderly.

PAUSE

Inhale…
Let the warmth rise.

Exhale…
Let another layer go.

PAUSE

As the edges dissolve,
You feel your chest expanding.
You feel the quiet rhythm of your heart
Beating freely.

PAUSE

Just beating…
Just being.

PAUSE

Let this openness be your truth now.
Let your breath move through it.

PAUSE

Let your heart receive—
Light.
Love.
Stillness.
Whatever you’ve been too armored to let in.

PAUSE

Let the breath keep flowing.
Let the armor keep melting.

PAUSE

Soften the edges.
Open the heart.
Fall into the flow
Of the woman you’ve always been—
Underneath it all.
