Slow Down to Sleep Up (Rest) Morning Meditation

Today’s morning meditation will help you slow down and rest, so you can speed up and have the energy to do what you want to do.

Good morning, Beautiful,

This week, we’re meditating about rest.

Sometimes, the most productive thing we can do is rest. To take the time to slow down and replenish, so we can then speed up and move with focus and intention.

Just like the marathon runner stopping at a station to recharge, or a car stopping to fill up its tank, or even a bird resting on a branch before it flies again…resting is a vital part of continued movement.

So this morning’s meditation is a guided visualization that will help you slow down so you can then speed up.

So Let’s Begin…

SLOW DOWN TO SPEED UP REST MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT

So close your eyes,

And come into your body.

PAUSE…

Bring your attention to the slowing down of its movements,

Your chest and belly rising,

And falling,

Your face relaxing,

And your shoulders dropping.

PAUSE…

Extend your breathing just a bit with every cycle.

Breathing in just a bit deeper,

And breathing out just a bit longer.

Elongating your breath,

And slowing your body down.

PAUSE…

Slowing your mind down.

Slowing you down.

LONG PAUSE…

Now find your inhale.

And imagine that every time you breathe in,

You pull in a golden, glowing energy.

PAUSE…

Watch as it fills you up with every breath in.

Filling in the spaces that need healing.

Replenishing the energy that’s been spent.

And creating a fresh, new energy inside of you,

Full of clarity,

Purpose,

And joy.

PAUSE…

Breathe it in,

And let the golden light fill you.
