So Let’s Begin…

SLOW DOWN TO SAVOR MEDITATION SCRIPT
Gently close your eyes.
Take a long, steady breath in…
And exhale slowly.
Again, breathe in…
And exhale, soft and deep.
PAUSE
Let your shoulders drop just a little more.
Let your jaw loosen.
Let your belly soften.
And let yourself simply be here.
PAUSE
Only this breath.
Only this stillness.
Only this gentle arrival into now.
PAUSE
Let yourself land in the quiet.
Let your body settle,
Let your mind unclench.
PAUSE
This sacred pause is your life.
And you don’t need a silent retreat or a perfect moment to slow down.
Right here, in the middle of your everyday,
There are invitations everywhere
To savor.
PAUSE
To taste the beauty of now.
To delight in the small,
To return to your senses —
Not just metaphorically,
But literally.
PAUSE
Notice what you can see, even with your eyes closed.
The colors behind your lids.
The light in the room.
PAUSE
Now let your ears open wide.
What can you hear?
The hush of the room,
The distant hum of a traffic,
Birdsong outside the window,
Or perhaps even the rhythm of your own breath.
Don’t label them —
Just notice.
PAUSE
Now, become aware the air on your skin.
The texture beneath you.
Your clothes on your body.
Notice what is warm…
What is soft…
PAUSE
These sensations are anchors.
Let them ground you.
PAUSE
If there’s a scent in the air,
Inhale gently and notice.
Is it your tea or coffee?
The scent of your home?
Perhaps the subtle morning air?
PAUSE
Savoring is soft yes to the moment.
To life.
PAUSE
So as you move into your day…
Let the pause stay with you.
Let it color the ordinary with tenderness.
The warmth of your mug.
The rhythm of footsteps.
The sound of your child’s voice.
The touch of your own hand on your chest.
Slow down to savor.
And feel how alive this moment really is.
PAUSE
Namaste, Beautiful.
