Today’s morning meditation will help you experience more expansive moments of a silent mind.
Good morning, beautiful.
Our meditations this week revolve around the theme of silent mind.
When we close our eyes and slow down, it can feel like the thoughts in our heads get even louder, constantly calling for our attention.
This is completely normal. Practicing meditation does not mean we close our eyes and the thoughts magically disappear. It means we practice letting those thoughts go when we notice them, so we can find more silence in the space between.
So we can experience more expansive moments of a silent mind.
So Let’s Begin…

SILENT MIND MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT
So close your eyes if they’re not already,
And invite your attention to come inward.
PAUSE…
Find your breath.
And see if you can be here for a bit with it.
Just listening to its sounds,
And feeling its sensations.
LONG PAUSE…
As thoughts come up,
As your mind wants to play,
Practice letting them all pass by you,
As if they’re leaves floating downstream on a river.
Watch them float away,
And then come back to your breath.
LONG PAUSE…
Notice as a bit more space opens up,
Inside your body,
Inside your mind.
PAUSE…
And just surrender to it,
The slow expansion of time,
The slow expansion of space.
The slow expansion of silence.
PAUSE…
Namaste, Beautiful
