SELF EXPRESSION MEDITATION SCRIPT
Just stop and pause.
It’s time to take care
of yourself.
PAUSE
Take in a deep breath,
and, as you do,
visualize that breath
caring for you.
Let it bring
lightness and calm
to all parts of you.
PAUSE
Now, take another minute
and let yourself
visualize your heart.
And, as you see your heart,
imagine it’s filled with
different colors,
like each part of the heart
has its own color.
PAUSE
Now, take a moment
and observe your colored heart.
Then, imagine finding the
color and piece of heart
that shows how much you love.
What color is it?
Is the piece large or small?
Whisper your thanks for this
piece of your heart
that lets you love so purely.
PAUSE
Now, breathe in deeply,
and, as you do,
find that color and part of your heart
that expresses your fear.
Take a minute,
and just observe this piece of you.
What color is it?
Is it a large or small piece?
Whisper your thanks
for the piece of your heart
that shows your fear,
so you can protect yourself.
PAUSE
Now, breathe in deeply again,
and, as you do,
find the color and piece of your heart
that expresses joy.
Take a moment to observe
this part of your heart.
What color is it?
Is it a large or small piece?
Whisper your thanks
for the piece of your heart
that brings joy into your life.
PAUSE
Now, breathe in deeply again
while bringing your consciousness
back to the here and now.
And, as you become more aware of
your surroundings,
embrace the knowledge
of your heart–
that it is multi-colored
and full of ways to express
who you are.
Keep this awareness close,
and let it guide you
in your communications
and how you
express your feelings.
