Today’s morning meditation will give you a chance to practice silence with piano music in the background.
Good morning, beautiful,
This week, our theme is silence.
Which means that all the meditations this week will have very little guidance, so you can practice sitting with the silence, sometimes with music, sometimes without.
The intention is to give you a chance to practice sitting in the silence, guiding your thoughts away, and settling deeply into stillness, the place where all the wisdom resides.
I call it a practice because it is always imperfect. Thoughts will arise and your mind will play with them. Your body will move and distract you. That is all completely normal. The purpose is to keep practicing coming back to your breath, back to the present moment, and surrendering to the silence.
