Build into your day a space to pause.
PAUSE…
Find a spot in your physical surroundings,
Where can create this pause.
PAUSE…
Now breathe in and exhale slowly through your nose.
PAUSE…
Use this moment in time,
To actively breathe and listen.
LONG PAUSE…
Observe what you hear…
LONG PAUSE…
Your constant, thumping heartbeat,
Warm, rhythmic breath,
Stomach gurgles,
Creak of toes or knees
PAUSE…
Then listen outwardly,
Into your space you created…
PAUSE…
Become aware of simple noises,
All around you…
LONG PAUSE…
Breathe and take it all in.
PAUSE…
Quietly slow your mind.
Gather in all the details.
Reflect on what you hear.
PAUSE…
Allow yourself to deeply listen into your body and all around you.
