Today’s morning meditation will give you the opportunity to meditate to wise words from Oprah Winfrey.
Good morning, Beautiful.
This week, we’re celebrating the wise words from a few of the most incredible women. Each meditation will begin with a quote, then a few words and guidance from me, and then space for you to marinate in the wisdom of these words and what they bring up for you.
So Let’s Begin…

OPRAH WINFREY – WISE WORDS FROM WOMEN MEDITATION SCRIPT
So close your eyes and allow your body to settle into a space of comfort and awareness,
Taking a moment to let everything slow down as you come inside.
PAUSE…
Bring your awareness to your breathing,
Surrendering to its simplicity,
Its gift of bringing you into the present moment.
Breathing in and out,
Expanding and contracting,
And slowing yourself down.
PAUSE…
Today’s wise words come from Oprah Winfrey.
She says, “self-esteem comes from being able to define the world in your own terms and refusing to abide by the judgements of others.”
PAUSE…
Courage and practice. That’s what comes up for me when I absorb this quote. It takes courage for us to define what is right for us in any given moment. Courage to listen to that whisper coming from inside of us that tells us to say no or to try something new. Courage to listen to that whisper and act on it. Courage to disregard the judgements from others and even from ourselves. And constant practice over and over again to align ourselves with our inner truth, our ultimate guide.
In the next few minutes while the music plays, allow yourself to sit with Oprah’s words and see what comes up for you.
LONG PAUSE…
Now bring your attention back to your breathing,
Inviting in a big, deep breath to fill your entire body.
And breathe it all out.
Thank you for being here with me today, Beautiful.
Namaste.
