So Let’s Begin…

OPEN HANDS, OPEN HEART MEDITATION SCRIPT
We don’t often realize
how much we walk through life
with our fists curled tight.
Tight around our stories.
Tight around our fears.
Tight around all the ways we think
life should unfold.
PAUSE
That grip,
though invisible,
can be felt in the way your body stiffens,
in the way your mind races,
in the way your heart feels protected,
guarded,
closed.
PAUSE
Take a breath in.
Exhale slowly.
Now notice your hands.
Notice if they are clenched,
even just a little.
Notice if there’s tension hiding there.
PAUSE
Gently,
softly,
let your hands unfurl.
Let your fingers open wide.
Let your palms face the sky.
PAUSE
Feel the relief
that comes when you are no longer holding on.
Feel the air brushing your palms,
the openness spreading through you.
PAUSE
As your hands open,
your heart begins to open too.
You can feel it —
a softening in your chest,
a warmth rising from within.
Like a door swinging open
to welcome love,
to welcome life,
to welcome grace.
PAUSE
This is what happens
when you release the grip.
The universe moves more freely through you.
Your spirit aligns with what is true.
And you become a vessel
for receiving the very things you were once clinging for.
PAUSE
Breathe here,
with your palms open,
your heart spacious.
PAUSE
All that is asked of you
is to open.
To let your hands soften.
To let your heart welcome.
To let life move through you,
as it longs to.
PAUSE
Breathe a little more softly,
More wide.
Hands unclenched.
Heart available.
Spirit alive.
LONG PAUSE
Namaste, Beautiful.
