Today’s morning meditation is offered as a simple structure for your morning ritual.
How we begin our mornings can set the tone for our entire day.
This practice is offered as a simple structure for your morning ritual. It’s offered here as a meditation, but can be practiced as you like – perhaps part meditation, part journaling, part envisioning. Whatever works best for you on any given day.
So Let’s Begin…

MORNING RITUAL MEDITATION MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT
Close your eyes,
And allow your body to relax.
PAUSE…
And let’s begin with ten natural, conscious breaths.
Inviting your attention to stay with each breath in,
And each breath out,
Counting silently with the progression.
PAUSE…
If your mind wanders and you lose your number,
That’s okay…
Just come back to your breath, and start again.
Let each inhale freshen and awaken you,
Let each exhale relax and calm you.
LONG PAUSE FOR 10 BREATHS…
Now come deep into your heart,
And search inside for gratitude.
See everything you have to be grateful for right now.
The people,
The things,
The situations,
The challenges.
Identify them here, silently within you.
LONG PAUSE…
Light with breath,
Warm with gratitude,
We now set our intentions for the day.
Who will you be?
What will you do?
What do you want to make of this day?
Be here, present to your intentions.
LONG PAUSE…
Now it’s time for a prayer.
A special request from you to the universe,
Consciously asking for that which you desire,
With humility and hope.
LONG PAUSE…
Now shift your energy from asking,
To listening.
Open,
Calm,
Quiet.
Letting go of everything except for the deep presence of you in this moment.
So you can listen.
LONG PAUSE…
Now bring your hands to your heart,
Feeling its warmth and peace,
As we bring our morning ritual to a close,
So you can begin your day.
Namaste, Beautiful
