Today’s morning meditation is for when you feel any resistance come up.
Good morning, beautiful.
Our theme this week is resistance.
Oh, how often we feel resistance. It’s usually lying underneath all of our most uncomfortable emotions, thoughts and experiences.
When we’re angry, stressed, sad or scared…it’s usually because we’re resisting something.
By looking deeper into our resistance, we can learn a lot about ourselves, and use that wisdom to transcend into a place of peaceful surrender to what is.
So Let’s Begin…

MORNING MEDITATION FOR RESISTANCE MEDITATION SCRIPT
So close your eyes,
And breathe in deeply,
Filling your chest and your belly completely.
Hold the air inside for just a few seconds,
And then release,
Feeling your body relax deeper.
PAUSE…
Settle here,
Into a nice, easy rhythm of breathing.
Letting your body melt,
Letting your mind clear.
LONG PAUSE…
Now see if you can recall a recent moment when you have felt the tightness of resistance.
Remembering what it felt like in your body.
Remembering what it felt like in your mind.
And imagining it as a scene of a movie,
Projecting onto an imaginary screen in front of you.
PAUSE…
Be here with it.
Watching without judgment.
Feeling without labels.
PAUSE…
What are you resisting?
PAUSE…
Now as you breathe out,
See if you can imagine all that physical,
Emotional,
Mental,
And spiritual tightness of resistance,
Exiting your body,
And dissolving into the air around you.
PAUSE…
Bring your hands together in front of your heart,
And invite yourself to surrender to this moment.
To what is.
And to the lessons resistance has to teach you.
Namaste, Beautiful
