Today’s morning meditation is a daily practice you can use to journal, complete with journal prompts to get you going.
Good morning, beautiful.
Our theme this week is journal prompts.
Writing down our thoughts and feelings and dreams can be such a powerful experience. It can help us put words to what’s going on inside of us, bringing clarity and insights. It can give us a space to dream about what we want. Ultimately, journaling can help us get to know ourselves better. And journal prompts can encourage us to write ourselves into places we otherwise never would have gone.
So this morning’s meditation consists of a little bit of guidance to relax and center you, and then offers a short string of journal prompts that you can write down or simply reflect on as the music plays on.
So Let’s Begin…

MORNING MEDITATION FOR JOURNALING WITH JOURNAL PROMPTS MEDITATION SCRIPT
So go ahead and place your hands on your heart for a brief moment,
And take a deep breath in,
Feeling your chest and belly expand as far as possible.
And then exhale,
Releasing your hands to your side,
And relaxing yourself into a comfortable position.
PAUSE…
Settle into a nice and easy rhythm of breathing,
Inviting in fresh, new energy with every inhale,
And releasing anything old or unwanted with every exhale.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
And just be here.
In this moment.
Present.
And peaceful.
PAUSE…
If I had no responsibilities today, how would I spend my time?
PAUSE…
What am I most proud of myself for?
PAUSE…
Who are a few of the people who have had the biggest impact on me and why?
PAUSE…
What are my biggest values? How can I live more in line with them?
PAUSE…
What do I need to be my best self today?
LONG PAUSE…
Now, as the music plays, I invite you to write in your journal on any or all of these prompts, allowing yourself to simply write, without editing or hesitating.
Or, you’re welcome to stay here and simply sit with them.
Namaste, Beautiful
