Today’s meditation is a morning prayer…a letter to the Universe so you can use it as a powerful tool to communicate your heart with the universal energy that connects us all.
While practicing meditation gives you the space to be with yourself, to get to know yourself better, to be quiet and still and to listen to what your inner wisdom is saying to you…
It is also okay to come to your practice with an agenda sometimes…with things you want to receive, feelings you want to express or attitudes you want to embrace.
Over the years, I’ve developed a practice of writing morning letters to the Universe when I feel this way…usually when I want to start my day intentionally so I can shift out of a certain mood, or I want to feel connected to the universal energy that weaves all of us together, or when I simply want to make sense out of the noise in my head.
Ultimately, so I can be connected, clear and vibrant.

MORNING LETTERS TO THE UNIVERSE SCRIPT

Let’s start by closing your eyes and getting into a comfortable position.
Take 3 deep breaths…
Bringing the air deep into your belly…
And then releasing it all out on the exhale.
Again, deep breath in…
And breathing out any tension you might have.
And last deep breath in….
And breathe it all out
Now bring your breathing to its normal rhythm
And feel your body relax

Dear Universe…
There’s so much on my mind today…
And yet, I know instinctively that I need to come to you to slow down, to center myself…
And to start with gratitude.
So, today I’m grateful for all the incredible people I have in my life
For the love that blossoms all around me
For the air in my lungs
And the opportunity to live this day.
I’m grateful for the challenges I’ve had in the past, as they’ve shaped me into the incredible woman I am today.
And I’m even grateful for the challenges I’m currently experiencing, because I know I become better as I move through them.
There is so much to be grateful for…

Dear Universe,
You know what I want. You know I crave more.
More love. More money. More joy. More connection. More impact. More peace.
Sometimes I feel insatiable…
And yet I also crave less…
Less stress. Less responsibilities. Less worry. Less pain.
So please help me find my center,
So I know when to strive…
And I know when to be still.
So I know when to do…
And I know when to be
So I know when to take action
And I know when to surrender
So ultimately, I can be present to it all.

Dear Universe,
Help me glow. Help me tap into the deepest parts of myself and live vivaciously, bravely, and authentically.
Help my external actions align with my internal wisdom.
Help me show up as my best self
And allow myself to evolve with all the messiness it entails.

Thank you…thank you for this day…for another chance to live…to love…to laugh…and to practice living this life.
