Today’s morning meditation will help you look back on all the love that has permeated your life this past year.
Good morning, beautiful.
This week, our theme is look back.
My intention in creating these meditations is to give you an opportunity to reflect back on your life this past year. To give you this sacred space to identify the lessons learned, the moments created, and the love that existed within it all. And to honor the growth you’ve had and ultimately, to feel deeply grateful for who you’ve become and where you are now. These meditations are not meant to keep you in the past, but to use it to deepen your presence and to consciously shape your future.
Today, we’re going to focus our attention on all the love that has permeated your life this past year. Because it’s really easy not to. It’s really easy to instead focus on all the frustrations, stresses, and negativity that has happened in our world and in our personal lives. But when we choose to focus on all the love instead, the love grows. And this love is what we use to pave our way into our tomorrow.
So Let’s Begin…
LOOK BACK ON THE LOVE LOOK BACK MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT
So breathe yourself into comfort,
Finding its rhythm,
And letting it slow,
Imagine yourself sitting on a soft patch of green grass,
Inside a light and luscious forest.
And one by one,
You notice leaves dancing in the gentle wind,
Falling down upon you.
Each of these leaves represents a moment of love from this past year.
So take a look at each of them,
And let the flood of memories mark them all.
Remember the people who have shown you love.
Remember the laughter.
Remember the gifts.
Remember the conversations.
Remember the hugs.
Remember the joys.
Take a few moments to feel each leaf of love fall upon you now.
As you find your breath again,
Take a look around,
And notice the deep pile of leaves in which you sit.
Your life has been full of love this year, my dear.
So bow your head,
Filled with gratitude,
And call all that love into this moment.
