Let Yourself Dance (Moving) Morning Meditation

Today’s morning meditation will give you the opportunity to dance and feel the movement of your body.

Good morning, beautiful,

Our theme this week is movement.

And today, I invite you to let your body dance.

In any way that feels good,

Without judgement,

Without expectation,

Without perfection.

Just let it move and flow and swim with the rhythm of the music.

So you can feel the beautiful freedom and joy that come from the movements of your body.

So Let’s Begin…

LET YOURSELF DANCE MOVEMENT MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT

So begin in any position that feels comfortable for you,

Standing, sitting down or even lying on your bed.

Bring your hand to your heart,

As you silently say this affirmation,

May I release all judgements and hesitations I have about moving my body with freedom this morning,

And may I surrender to the imperfect beauty of dance.

PAUSE…

And then, invite your body to move for the next few minutes,

One with the music,

And one with the fluid movement of your body.

LONG PAUSE (5 MIN)…

Now slow your body down,

And come back to your center.

The music will continue on here for a bit if you’d like to continue dancing,

Or for you to sit with it as you close out your meditation.
