I AM GRATEFUL (I AM) MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT
At the molecular level,
practicing gratitude reduces stress hormones
and instead increases the flow of joy
and happiness.
PAUSE…
So let us start today with a tiny dosage of gratitude.
LONG PAUSE…
Bring to your mind someone
or something you are grateful for right now.
PAUSE…
It can be something seemingly mundane,
Like the food you ate,
The water you drank,
The smile someone gave you.
PAUSE…
Or it can be something more obvious,
Like an important event,
A big accomplishment,
Or receiving something you’ve been hoping for.
PAUSE…
Just bring an image to your mind that embodies the feeling of gratitude.
PAUSE…
And,
mentally affirm with me,
PAUSE…
I am grateful.
PAUSE…
I am grateful.
LONG PAUSE…
By consciously making the choice to practice gratitude,
whether through your day-to-day actions and feelings,
or through making time for moments of mindfulness,
you are tapping into a portal of abundance,
And Joy.
