How often do we allow ourselves to bask in the warmth of someone else’s kindness and recognition?
Instead, we often brush off the compliments, minimize our achievements, or deflect the attention to someone else.
But when we receive praise with gratitude, we honor not only ourselves but also the person who is giving it.
We acknowledge the beauty and abundance in the world, and we create more space for joy and connection.

GRATITUDE FOR THE PRAISE MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT
So relax,
And ease yourself into comfort.
And use your breath to find your stillness.
LONG PAUSE…
See if you can recall when someone praised you for something that you did or said.
It could be something big or small, recent or from a long time ago.
Really take your time to visualize this experience.
LONG PAUSE…
As you recall this praise, allow yourself to feel the warmth and joy that came from that moment.
Feel it in your heart and in your body.
PAUSE…
Now, take a moment to reflect on all the times in your life when someone has praised you or shown appreciation for who you are.
Allow these memories to come to mind, one after the other.

Allow yourself to feel grateful for the people who have given it to you.
Acknowledge the impact their words and actions have had on your life, and how they have helped shape who you are today.

Allow this sense of gratitude to fill your heart and your body, and feel it growing stronger with each passing moment.

Remember that you have the power to give praise and show appreciation to others as well.
So take this feeling inside and let it guide you towards spreading kindness and positivity in the world around you.
