PAUSE…
Life can be complicated,
Overwhelming,
And scary
At times.
PAUSE…
To feel this inside your body,
Is unnerving.
PAUSE…
Take a breath.
Breathe into all the areas of your body…
Starting from your head,
Through your chest,
Down to your belly,
Into your legs,
All the way to your toes.
See if you can feel the fear that lives within.
LONG PAUSE…
Is it trapped inside anywhere…
Tightness in your throat,
Chest, belly…
Breathe into this area,
Where you feel this fear.
Wiggle it free.
Unearth it from your body.
Exhale your breath and let this fear go.
LONG PAUSE…
Feel how the fear resists,
Hangs on…
But you are one powerful being of light.
You are stronger than this fear,
And its shadows will not overtake you,
But instead will guide you towards the light.
PAUSE…
Breathe in and exhale once again.
PAUSE…
Tell yourself…
I am more light than fear.
Tell yourself,
I am a strong,
Powerful,
Being.
