So Let’s Begin…

FREE YOURSELF FROM RESENTMENT MEDITATION SCRIPT
Take a deep breath,
not just into your lungs,
but into your heart.
PAUSE
Let this breath be a moment to pause,
to check in with yourself,
and notice what you’ve been holding.
PAUSE
In this space,
be honest with yourself.
What resentment have you been carrying?
PAUSE
Is it a slow, simmering feeling
or something more present,
weighing heavily on your chest?
PAUSE
Notice where it lives inside of you.
Does it sit tight in your shoulders?
In your jaw?
In your stomach?
PAUSE
Become aware of the subtle,
and not so subtle, ways it’s showing up.
PAUSE
Ask yourself—
what are you still holding on to?
PAUSE
Is there someone you’ve yet to forgive,
an injustice you’ve yet to release?
PAUSE
Is there a situation
that keeps pulling you back,
keeping you stuck in the past?
PAUSE
Breathe deeply,
and in this moment,
give yourself permission to soften.
PAUSE
Let go of the need to hold this pain,
even if only for a moment,
to allow space for healing,
for peace to gently step in.
PAUSE
Can you feel the weight of your resentment,
slowly loosening its grip?
PAUSE
Can you feel the shift as it begins to release,
just enough to let in the lightness of your heart?
PAUSE
You don’t need to erase what happened.
You don’t need to forget.
But in this space,
you can choose to free yourself.
Release the chains that keep you tethered
to what’s long past.
PAUSE
You are not bound to this story anymore.
You have the power to choose to let go,
to open your heart again,
to forgive yourself,
and perhaps even others,
for the sake of your own peace.
PAUSE
Reflect on this moment—
how does it feel to release?
PAUSE
What does your heart feel like
without the weight of resentment?
PAUSE
As you sit with this awareness,
allow your breath to fill you again,
with compassion,
with kindness,
with space for new beginnings.
PAUSE
You are free now.
And in this freedom,
you allow peace to return to you,
lightening your heart,
opening your soul.
PAUSE
Namaste, Beautiful.
