When I refer to “spaciousness,” I’m talking about the feeling of openness inside of you. A feeling of lightness and stillness created when we are present and “out of our heads.”
It’s not expected that you’re going to feel this spaciousness all the time during your meditation – that’s why we meditate…to practice coming inside, letting go and opening up. To practice expanding our spaciousness. So, be gentle on yourself as you practice today. Never perfectly. Always lovingly.
So Let’s Begin…
EXPAND THE SPACIOUSNESS INSIDE (MENTAL HEALTH) MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT
So relax, my love,
As you settle deeply into comfort.
Relax your face,
Release your jaw,
Drop your shoulders,
And let your arms and legs melt.
And feel yourself breathe.
PAUSE…
Come inside,
Releasing all those thoughts and emotions from you with every breath out.
And then inviting your awareness deeper inside of you with every breath in.
PAUSE…
Feel it in the center of you,
The soft hum of stillness.
Where time doesn’t exist,
And peace shines like the sun.
There is no room for fear,
Only love,
Only love.
PAUSE…
Feel it expand,
This spaciousness inside of you,
Feel it grow out from your center,
Entering slowly into all the parts of your body,
Pushing out the thoughts and emotions,
And making more room for stillness,
Peace,
Love.
LONG PAUSE…
There is nothing to figure out here,
Nothing to do.
So just be.
And surrender to this moment,
This breath,
This life,
And this beautiful gift of spaciousness expanding inside of you,
And through you.
Namaste, Beautiful
