Our meditations this week revolve around the theme of silent mind.
This meditation is a practice of conscious breathing.
An opportunity for you to be one with your breath,
And expand the spaces between each breath.
The spaces where the stillness lives.
And the silent mind awaits.
So Let’s Begin…

EXPAND THE SPACES BETWEEN YOUR BREATH SILENT MIND MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT
So come inside,
And bring your attention deep into your body,
Away from the thoughts in your mind.
PAUSE…
Become deeply aware of your breathing.
And find its rhythm.
PAUSE…
In,
And out.
Filling you up,
And releasing from you.
PAUSE…
Now breathe in to the count of 8,
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
And breathe out to the count of 8,
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
A few more times here on your own.
Eight counts in,
And eight counts out.
LONG PAUSE…
Bring your breathing to an easy rhythm,
And see if you can begin to notice the spaces that open up between your inbreath on your outbreath.
PAUSE…
Let your attention be here,
Present with the texture of your breathing,
Aware of those spaces in between your breath,
And imagining them expanding.
LONG PAUSE…
A lot lives here within these spaces of stillness.
Wisdom that does not live inside your head,
And truth that is found only within the silent mind.
