DEEP BREATHING FOR BODY RELAXATION MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT
Bring your attention to your breathing,
And take a natural breath in through your nose,
And exhale out through your nose.
PAUSE
Begin to take note of where your breath goes…
As you keep breathing in and out through your nose,
at your own, easy pace,
Listening and dropping into your body.
PAUSE…
Do you feel tension anywhere in your body as you breathe in and out?
LONG PAUSE…
Find this spot, where the tension or stress hides,
And just notice it.
PAUSE…
Imagine your breath is traveling
Right to this point in your body,
Where you may feel a tightness, a pinch, or maybe a dull pain…
PAUSE…
Breathe in once again, naturally through your nose,
As you breath in, this time on your exhale
Focus and really feel the breath reach into this space,
PAUSE…
Then release whatever it is that does not serve your body,
And allow the breath to guide it out as you exhale fully through your nose.
LONG PAUSE…
Take a deep breath in,
Gathering up everything that doesn’t need to be there,
And then with your exhale,
Let it all go,
Let it all dissolve.
PAUSE
Feel the lightness inside your body,
The calm,
The relaxation.
