There are many ways and reasons we might feel held back, stuck or constricted. You may have paralyzing fears of making a mistake. Or you may have been taught that it’s better to play it safe, than to take risks. No matter the way it might manifest, ultimately, it’s all limiting beliefs and a lack of trust.
Our soul is expansive in nature though. It thrives in the fresh, new opportunities available to us. It revels in the growth that change brings.
So today’s meditation will help you to actively choose expansion.
So Let’s Begin…
CHOOSE EXPANSION MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT
So open your heart,
Lower your shoulders,
Loosen your cheek muscles,
And relax your body into comfort.
PAUSE…
Where do you feel held back?
LONG PAUSE…
What limiting beliefs might you have about the possibilities before you?
LONG PAUSE…
Feel deeply into your heart,
And be here with your soul.
Allow yourself to simply witness the answers that arise,
With acceptance and compassion.
LONG PAUSE…
Now become aware of your breathing.
And on every breath in,
See if you can imagine your heart opening wide,
More fully.
PAUSE…
And all of those limiting beliefs,
Releasing through your outbreath.
PAUSE…
Breath in and feel the expansion,
Breathe out and feel the growing freedom,
Watching your limiting beliefs disappear into the air around you.
LONG PAUSE…
Continue breathing here for a moment,
Consciously releasing all those limiting beliefs,
All those fears that are blocking your joy,
Your happiness,
Your inner fulfillment
And the expansion of your soul. .
PAUSE…
Now bring your attention back deep into the center of you.
Feeling luminous,
Expansive,
Spacious,
Free to spread your wings,
And step into the fullness of who you are.
