So Let’s Begin…

BODY CHECK-IN MEDITATION SCRIPT
Take a moment —
this moment —
to turn your attention inward.
PAUSE…
Just bring your mind back
to the one place it always belongs:
your body.
PAUSE…
Let your eyes soften
or close if you like.
Breathe in slowly —
let the breath reach your belly.
Breathe out, steady and calm.
PAUSE…
Now, begin a quiet scan.
Start at the top:
the crown of your head.
Can you sense any tightness there?
Release it, as if smoothing your brow
with a gentle hand.
PAUSE…
Bring awareness to your face —
your eyes, cheeks, jaw.
Soften your eyes,
unclench your teeth,
let your tongue rest.
Notice how even small spaces
can hold tension,
and how easily it can melt
when you pay attention.
PAUSE…
Feel your neck and shoulders.
These places carry more than they show.
Roll your shoulders once,
then let them drop —
heavier, softer.
PAUSE…
Breathe into your chest.
Sense your ribs move,
your heartbeat steady.
Place a hand there if it comforts you.
Feel life moving under your palm.
PAUSE…
Slide your focus down your arms.
Notice your elbows,
your wrists,
your fingertips.
Uncurl your fingers —
let them rest, unburdened.
PAUSE…
Turn inward to your belly.
Notice if you’re holding it tight.
Let it loosen,
and invite your next breath
to fill this softer space.
PAUSE…
Bring your mind lower —
your hips, legs, knees.
Feel their weight pressing down,
rooting you to the earth.
They carry you —
thank them for it.
PAUSE…
Sense your feet now.
Feel how they meet the floor,
steady and reliable.
Picture roots growing from your soles,
anchoring you firmly in the here and now.
PAUSE…
Take one deeper breath.
Let it sweep through this whole body —
a wave of calm
from head to toe.
You live inside this body —
and it is wise,
it is forgiving,
it is yours.
PAUSE…
Take one final, gentle breath —
long, easy.
And carry this calm awareness
into whatever comes next.
PAUSE…
Namaste, Beautiful.
