Begin Your Day With Joy (Joy Meditation)

Today’s joy meditation will give you the opportunity to begin your day with that all encompassing feeling of joy, so you can feel saturated in it as you move through your day.

Good morning, beautiful,

This week, we’re meditating about joy.

Joy is a feeling of great pleasure and happiness. It comes from the most raw and deep part of our souls, and we express it in our laughter, our smiles and our lightness.

So this morning’s meditation will give you the opportunity to begin your day with that all encompassing feeling of joy, so you can feel saturated in it as you move through your day.

So Let’s Begin…

BEGIN YOUR DAY WITH JOY – JOY MEDITATION SCRIPT

So let’s begin with a big, deep, cleansing breath in,

Inviting the oxygen to wake up the deepest parts of your body and mind,

And exhale all the way to the end.

One more deep breath in,

Signaling to yourself that you’re ready to be here, be present,

And releasing all the air out.

Let your breathing find a smooth, easy rhythm,

And just be here for a bit.

One with your breath.

One with your body.

One with this moment.

Breathe…

PAUSE…

This moment is yours to create,

A fresh new beginning,

A chance to set the tone for the day ahead.

So let’s set an intention to be joyful today.

No matter what happened yesterday,

Or what may come tomorrow,

Today, choose joy.

PAUSE…

Bring your hand to your heart,

And as you do, feel the warmth there,

And imagine that there’s a deep well of joy inside of you,

Just waiting for you to drink.

PAUSE…

Reach your hand in the well,

And bring the fresh water to your mouth,

Feeling the tingling energy of joy spread throughout your body.

Drink.

And feel joy.

Drink, and BE joy.

PAUSE…

Now become aware of your hand on your heart,

And notice the lightness,

The happiness,

The excitement to be alive in this moment.

Breathe,

And be joy today.
