Let’s Begin…
BE MINDFUL OF YOUR SPACE (MINDFULNESS) MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT
Mindfulness provides us,
with an extra moment,
to suspend our judgements and reactions,
so that we stay true
to our authentic self-expression.
PAUSE…
So let us be mindful of the space around us today,
and how our body interacts with it.
Close your eyes,
and soften your breath.
PAUSE…
Let it be slow
and deep.
PAUSE…
Fill your lungs,
your body with vital energy with each breath.
PAUSE…
Now, focus your calm awareness on the space around you.
PAUSE…
Be mindful of the space,
and how you are in it.
PAUSE…
Guide your attention to your surroundings,
the ground you firmly sit on,
The sounds that draw your attention,
the scent tingling of your senses.
PAUSE…
Observe these interactions as you let them come,
and go.
PAUSE…
Now, open your eyes gently,
and be aware of seeing.
PAUSE…
When you shift your body,
be aware of its movement within the space around you.
PAUSE…
Allow your fingers and toes to wiggle a bit,
As you ease out of this meditation,
And back into your day.
Calm,
Present,
And mindful.
