When friendships fade away or end abruptly,
It can really hurt.
Oftentimes, we’re left with wounds from the ending,
That can stay with us for a long time.
So today we’ll be creating space for closure for these friendships,
So we can let them go,
And move on.
So let yourself settle in,
And take a big, deep breath,
Signaling to your body and mind that it’s time to slow down.
Surrender to the gentle rhythm of your breathing,
Letting it soften you,
And calm you.
There may be wounds inside.
Memories of old friendships,
The laughter and the tears.
See if you can see deep into the wounds,
Those moments of disappointment,
Now as you breathe,
See if you can imagine a soft light coming down upon these memories,
Covering these wounds,
With every single breath,
Forgiveness rises within you.
And for yourself.
As you let the wounds heal,
And let the pain go.
Feel the love and the tenderness that’s here.
And feel as space opens up,
As heaviness dissolves away.
