So Let’s Begin…

BE MINDFUL OF YOUR INNER MONOLOGUE MEDITATION SCRIPT

Our inner monologue feeds our self-worth.

PAUSE…

That little voice inside your head,

Whose words can soothe like honey,

Or sting like a bee.

PAUSE… 

This voice can lift you up,

And allow you to soar beyond your wildest dreams.

Or they can drag you down,

And keep you small and scared.

PAUSE…

So be mindful of your thoughts today.

Allowing yourself to simply observe the voice that you hear.

LONG PAUSE…

Become aware of which words make you feel good,

And which make you feel bad. 

PAUSE…

Which comments fill you up,

Which comments deflate you. 

LONG PAUSE…

And as you become more mindful of your inner monologue, 

Know that it is not you. 

PAUSE…

You get to choose and guide this voice inside. 

LONG PAUSE…

So let them pass you by and dissolve into the air,

All those sentiments of judgment, 

Regret, 

Limitation, 

And fear.

They do not have to be yours today. 

They do not have to be a part of your inner monologue now. 

LONG PAUSE…

Now inhale deeply, 

And choose again.

Choose to keep those words that build you up,

Gently embrace,

Encourage,

And nourish you.

PAUSE…

These are the words you can choose to feed your self-worth. 

This is the voice you can choose to listen to.
