BE MINDFUL OF YOUR BODY (MINDFULNESS) MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT
As the new day begins,
And ground yourself within your body.
There might be a tendency to run away with the mind,
to think about what already happened
and worry about what is to come.
Instead, come deep into your body,
Instead of lingering in your thoughts.
Find your breath, and be aware of its movement within you.
With each breath,
release your thoughts,
and embrace the freshness of the moment.
a deep breath in and out.
another breath of air right into your abdomen and breathe it out slowly.
If you find your mind wandering into a thought, gently guide yourself back to your breath.
Be mindful of the complex harmony of your body.
PAUSE (15 secs)…
How the moving breath,
the beating heart,
the feeling skin
give you awareness,
give you life.
by becoming deeply mindful of your body,
You are honoring its sacred complexities,
And allowing gratitude and awareness to grow.
