Align Your Thoughts (Alignment) Morning Meditation

Today’s morning meditation is an opportunity to align your thoughts.

Good morning, beautiful.

This week, our theme is alignment.

Aligning our thoughts means to hold onto and enhance thoughts that are in agreement with our true selves, our souls. And letting go of thoughts that are not. Thoughts that are disempowering or keep us small.

Our thoughts are extremely powerful and can shape our lives. As Buddha said, “What you think, you become.”

So Let’s Begin…

ALIGN YOUR THOUGHTS ALIGNMENT MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT

So come inside,

As you invite your body to relax.

Relax your shoulders,

Soften your face,

Let your arms and legs relax.

PAUSE…

Breathe here for a bit,

Following your breath in and out of your body,

And letting it slow you down.

LONG PAUSE…

Imagine you have a big basket next to you.

And as thoughts arise within you,

Reach your hand out and grab them,

One by one,

Like leaves floating by in the wind.

PAUSE…

Take a moment to observe each one in your hand.

And determine where it will go.

Bring the positive, empowering thoughts close to you,

And lay them in your basket.

PAUSE…

And let the ones that are negative or limiting leave your hand,

Drift away back in the wind,

And dissolve to nothing.

LONG PAUSE…

This is your moment of discernment.

Your chance to keep a thought,

Or let it go.

You have this power in every single moment.

PAUSE…

So choose the thoughts that are in alignment with your soul,

The ones that lift you up,

Encourage you,

Remind you that everything is possible,

And that you are worthy.
