Our theme this week is discipline.
The more we do something, the easier it becomes for us to do, and the more it becomes a habit.
So if we really want to harness the power of discipline in our lives,
It helps to understand the relationship between it, our actions and our habits.
That our discipline fuels our actions, our actions create habits, and habits help automate our discipline. It becomes easier to do the things we need to do in order to get what we want.
So this morning’s meditation is a guided visualization that will help embody this connection.

ACTIONS CREATE HABITS DISCIPLINE MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT
Let’s first slow down your breathing,
And bring your attention away from the world outside of you,
And into your special world inside.
PAUSE…
Let the melodies of your breathing calm you,
And bring you inside.
PAUSE…
Now see if you can imagine something you want for yourself.
And then slowly let these visions transform into life one year from now,
You embodying your desires.
You’ve achieved what you wanted to achieve.
You have what you wanted to have.
You’ve become who you’ve wanted to become.
Be here with yourself,
Completely immersed in this vision.
PAUSE…
Now imagine yourself in the actions it took to get here.
The regular activities you showed up to do in order to build this bridge into the future.
PAUSE…
Watch yourself on a timeline,
Noticing that as time progressed,
It became easier for you to take those actions.
Notice how much lighter it felt to show up regularly,
How much stronger you felt in your habits as the year progressed.
PAUSE…
Just observe the year behind you,
And notice the power of that discipline,
That fueled the actions,
That strengthened the habits,
That led to this moment in your future,
Where you have stepped into what you desired.
