In a world of instant gratification and convenience,
You might be used to getting what you want, when you want it.
PAUSE…
But patience is the art of not being in a hurry.
Being in the present moment and waiting for that something,
That someone,
Without expressing irritation or frustration.
PAUSE…
What’s holding you back from fully practicing patience?
PAUSE…
Now breathe…
And find the rhythm of your breath.
PAUSE…
See if you can imagine your entire body opening,
Relaxing,
And letting go of control,
Of everything outside of you.
PAUSE…
Breathe…and open.
Breathe…and release.
PAUSE…
Now see if you can find the stillness here.
The space within you where patience lives.
PAUSE…
There is nowhere you need to be,
Nothing you need to do.
Time does not exist.
And patience thrives.

Be here in this space,
Surrendered to the willingness to be patient.
