Today’s morning meditation is a chance to bring deep awareness to movement during a brief walk.
Good morning, beautiful,
Our theme this week is movement.
And today, we’re going to be doing a walking meditation. So put on those headphones or earbuds, and step outside.
The pace of this meditation is going to be a little faster than usual. But we will still be moving slowly, deliberately and consciously.
If you’re unable to walk or prefer to sit today, try your best to imagine the scene as I describe it in your mind instead.
So Let’s Begin…

A WALKING MEDITATION MOVEMENT MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT
So as you begin your walk,
Go ahead and bring your attention to your feet.
Observing their stride,
How they feel in your shoes,
The feeling of connection with the ground with each step.
Just be here for a bit,
Fully concentrated on the movement of your feet.
PAUSE…
Now let your attention rise,
Noticing the movement of your legs,
Your hips,
Your stomach,
Your chest,
And the sway of your arms.
PAUSE…
All without judgement,
All without thoughts.
Just keeping your attention here on your body,
As you move,
Step by step.
LONG PAUSE…
Now see if you can shift your attention away from your body,
And out into the scenery around you.
Look around,
And observe the world around you.
The ground,
The grass,
The rocks,
The trees,
The animals,
The noises,
All of it.
Just take it all in,
And be here with it.
LONG PAUSE…
Movement brings you into the present.
There’s nothing you need to do,
Nothing you need to accomplish.
Just let the movement bring you here.
Feeling your heartbeat.
Feeling your breath.
And one with the beauty of the moment.
Namaste, Beautiful
