Good morning, beautiful,

This week, we’ve been meditating all about joy.

Rumi said, “When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy.”

Today’s meditation will give you the opportunity to reflect on these words as I guide you through a brief visualization.

So Let’s Begin…

A RIVER OF JOY MOVING THROUGH YOU – JOY MEDITATION SCRIPT

Close your eyes and invite yourself to settle deeply into comfort.

Drop your shoulders,

Relax your face,

And let your arms and your legs melt.

Bring your attention to your breath,

Following it in and out of your nose,

Slowly,

Calmly.

Feeling the soothing rhythms of your breathing bring you right here, right now.

Breathe…

PAUSE…

When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy.

Imagine the river inside of you,

Its deep blue waters moving every ounce of you down the path your soul has created.

It feels good.

It feels right.

It feels powerful.

Let yourself be here, feeling the river’s constant flow of joy inside of you.

LONG PAUSE…

Now come back to my voice,

Back to this moment.

And take a big, deep cleansing breath in, filing your entire body up,

And then exhale, relaxing deeper into the river of joy inside of you.
