This week, we’re meditating about rest.
Today’s meditation is a simple practice you can use daily to give yourself the space to rest.
So Let’s Begin…

A REGULAR PRACTICE OF REST MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT
Take a full, deep breath in,
Inviting the air deep into your body.
Let it fill you up all the way,
And then release it,
Exhaling it all the way out.
Feeling yourself drop a little deeper into comfort.
PAUSE…
Take another deep inhale,
Pulling the air all the way down to your toes,
Hold it here for a moment,
And then breathe it out,
All the way out,
Releasing anything heavy,
Anything stressful,
Anything at all.
PAUSE…
And then deeper into your body.
Deeper into your breathe,
Deeper into rest.
LONG PAUSE…
Let yourself be here,
Opening up,
And letting go,
As you breathe in,
And breathe out.
PAUSE…
Rest here,
And let yourself restore.
Knowing your rest is just as important as your movement.
That stillness is needed for motion,
That silence is needed for sound.
So be here,
Resting deeper with every breath out.
