So Let’s Begin…

A PAUSE FOR ENDING YOUR DAY MEDITATION SCRIPT
Before you step into what’s next —
the dinner to make,
the kids to settle,
the evening to live —
pause here with me.
PAUSE…
Wherever you are,
sit back for just a breath.
Let your shoulders drop,
your jaw soften,
your mind slow its spin.
PAUSE…
Take a gentle breath in,
as if you’re clearing out
the rush and noise
you’ve gathered since morning.
Exhale slowly,
feeling your whole self exhale too —
like setting down bags after a long day.
PAUSE…
You have done so much today.
Answered questions,
solved problems,
held pieces together
with your own two hands.
For this moment,
you don’t have to do any of it.
PAUSE…
Let your breath be a line
that separates what’s finished
from what comes next.
Let this pause be your soft bridge
between busy and calm,
work and family,
effort and ease.
PAUSE…
Breathe in —
feel your chest open,
your ribs expand,
your heart thank you
for this tiny pocket of stillness.
Breathe out —
long and unhurried,
like clearing a cluttered table
before setting it fresh for the evening.
PAUSE…
Notice your feet on the floor.
Your hands resting quiet.
Your eyes softer than before.
PAUSE…
This is your reset button.
A promise to yourself:
I can end my day gently,
no matter how it began.
PAUSE…
Carry this calm into your evening —
into the laughter,
the small messes,
the dinner table conversations,
the final hugs goodnight.
You get to close your day on purpose —
with presence,
with a breath,
with peace.
PAUSE…
Namaste, Beautiful.
