So Let’s Begin…

A MEDITATION TO RELEASE PERFECTIONISM MEDITATION SCRIPT
Settle in,
and feel the rhythm of your breath,
steady and sure,
anchoring you here,
in this moment.
PAUSE
Now, feel the weight of your striving,
the constant drive for perfection,
that ache to be better,
to be more,
to meet an ideal that feels just out of reach.
PAUSE
Let it be seen for what it is—
a heavy cloak draped over your shoulders,
tightening the more you pull at it,
tightening as you try to be everything,
to do everything.
PAUSE
But here, in this space,
you are allowed to breathe,
you are allowed to release the weight.
You are allowed to step back
and just be.
LONG PAUSE
So with each breath,
allow yourself to loosen the grip,
slowly, softly,
breathing out what no longer serves you.
PAUSE
Perfection is a myth,
a fleeting shadow that shifts as you chase it.
PAUSE
But you,
you are real.
You are whole just as you are.
PAUSE
Release the burden of perfection,
and with it, release the judgment,
the expectations,
the need to measure up.
PAUSE
Feel how your shoulders soften,
how the weight of the world lightens,
how you come back to yourself—
whole, already enough.
PAUSE
And as you breathe,
remember that you are worthy of love,
just as you are,
flaws, quirks, and all.
In your imperfection, you are perfect.
PAUSE
Namaste, Beautiful.
