YOU ARE SAFE AND SECURE: A ROOT CHAKRA MEDITATION SCRIPT
You are safe,
You are whole.
You are light,
A beautiful soul.
PAUSE
(music starts)
It can start as a rumbling,
Knots wind and tighten.
We retract and pull ourselves in.
Our senses heighten,
And all of a sudden,
We feel uprooted.
PAUSE
It can happen in a moment,
An unexpected event,
A tidal wave that takes us out to sea.
We’re left feeling lost,
Unhinged and bewildered,
Trying to find our footing.
PAUSE
The loss of someone we love,
A change in our routine,
A shift in the flow of our money,
An unsettling encounter.
They spread their stories of fear,
All throughout our veins,
And block our sacred root.
PAUSE
So breathe in deep,
And come back home,
To the wholeness and steadiness of you.
Breathe in deep,
And you’ll be shown,
Your safety is part of your truth.
LONG PAUSE
Imagine a soft, glowing red,
Emanating from below,
The chakra at the base of your spine.
It’s soothing rays,
Warm and soften,
And connect you to Mother Earth.
PAUSE
Breathe in deep now,
And notice what shakes loose,
The specs of fear, the grains of uncertainty.
Loosen and let go,
Loosen and let go,
Loosen and let go.
And observe your red glow strengthen and expand.
LONG PAUSE
Imagine roots now, growing from the base of your spine,
Down,
Down,
Down,
Deep into the earth beneath you.
The deeper they go, the more stable you feel.
Unwavering,
Connected,
Safe.

Feel the red glow burning away all that’s troubling,
All that’s scary,
All that’s dark,
Clearing the space for the red to glow even brighter,
And flow freely through you.

The growing red light sinks down through your roots,
And into the Earth,
Cementing their hold below.
Now feel the energy burst up and out,
Running up through your chakras,
And overflowing from you,
Pouring white light from your head.

Be here, one with your light,
Rooted deeply into the ground,
Deeply into yourself.
