When You’re Sick Sleep Meditation

Tonight’s sleep meditation will help you relax and fall asleep peacefully when you’re sick.

Fall into the sea of soft blankets tonight,

And let them hold you close. 

I know you’re sick,

And that your body is out of sync.

But breathe deeply, my dear,

And wrap yourself in peace.

Let it cover you, 

Caress you,

And heal you.

So Let’s Begin…

WHEN YOU’RE SICK SLEEP MEDITATION SCRIPT

So settle in,

And take some time to move around,

And find comfort,

Letting it be okay that it might feel a little different,

Than when you’re well. 

PAUSE…

And when you’ve snuggle in,

Take a full, deep breath in,

And then exhale,

Letting all the air out.

PAUSE…

Now stay with the relaxing rhythms of your breath here.

In and out,

Rising and falling,

Expanding and contracting. 

PAUSE…

I am open to receiving healing tonight

PAUSE…

Let this affirmation comfort you,

As you feel your heart relax and open.

As you feel your body melt and release.

As you feel your mind clear and let go.

As you feel your spirit open and receive.

PAUSE…

I am open to receiving healing tonight.

LONG PAUSE…

A soft blue light descends upon you,

And gently covers your body,

Infusing her glow in the fabric of your blankets.

PAUSE…

Her touch is full of love and compassion,

And you feel yourself melt into the light.

Safe,

And completely open to healing. 

PAUSE…

You’re always taking care of everyone else, my love,

It’s time for you to receive. 

Rest deeply knowing that the blue light of healing covers you,

And will guide you through the night. 

PAUSE…

Breathe in the soft blue light,

And feel it cover you from head to toe. 

Breathe in the healing she gives,

And the relief in her glow.

PAUSE…

Let your thoughts shift from the pain and discomfort,

Into the visions of wellness.

See yourself vibrant.

See yourself strong.

PAUSE…

Welcome the vibrations of wellness,

As they emanate from these visions.

And fall upon you,

Another layer of love.

Another blanket of peace.

And then feel your body relax deeper into sleep,

Surrender further to the beauty of the night.

As your body releases the sickness,

And breathes in the blue light of healing.
