Rest now,
And breathe.
Even as your mind is screaming for attention.
Breathe.
PAUSE…
Come here to your breath,
And separate from it all.
So you can come deeply into yourself.
Ready for calm.
Ready for peace.
PAUSE…
Feel your breath.
The ins and outs of the air,
The slowing down of your body,
The relaxing of your mind.
PAUSE…
Drop your shoulders,
And soften the muscles in your face.
Let yourself breathe in deeply,
Filling yourself with air that will cleanse you,
And then breath out,
A big, cathartic sigh,
Inviting your body to drop deeper into comfort,
Letting it all go.

Let yourself be here for a bit.
Far away from life’s responsibilities.
PAUSE…
No one needs you right now.
Nothing needs your attention.
Only this moment exists.
So open your soul to the healing it craves,
And the release it deserves.
